Weekend in New York...my early birthday present from Randy (REALLY early, but what's time got to do with it when it's this great?!) We haven't been there together since the night Saddam Hussein was captured, so we were WELL overdue. I'm a huge Allman Brothers fan...love the music, love what it represents to me - great fun in the summertime and great times with my friends in bands past. The Holy Grail of Allman Brothers concerts is their annual run at the Beacon Theater in New York City. This year marks the 40th anniversary of this band. Yeah you might think Gregg Allman Marries Cher from the 70's and all that stuff, but these guys play freestyle, always mixing up the tunes and bringing in guests and just awesome on the stage. Anyway, Randy scored tickets (at face value no less), got us tickets for the Acela train, and a free stay at the Waldorf Astoria thanks to all his Hilton points. Pictures anyone? Local bar for dinner and beers before the show. I love the little...
I have nothing to write about and I'm a little bored tonight. So I will count countries and remember times I was NOT so bored. England. Maybe 8 times? 10? the first time for 3 months though. Scotland Spain 3 times France Sweden Norway Denmark Belgium The Netherlands Hungary Austria Switzerland Czech Republic Slovakia 4 hours in Germany hanging around train stations with no Deutch Marks. Teehee. I can't count that! ;-) Canada Grand Cayman St Thomas St Maartin Jamaica Mexico US States: 45 Boy, there's a whole lot of world left to see.

Yes, I voted. Was it crowded in Somerville? When it comes to voting, I love living in Pittsfield - no lines.
