Ya never know who's reading!

How funny is this...I got this email the other day. Freaked me out a little at first but then again I read strangers' blogs all the time.

"I was looking at your blog and laughing at your "most embarassing moment" part of the questionaire that you filled out in January. Oh, you probably want to know why I was looking at it. Unfortunately, I am not a stalker. I just happen to be a mad googler. When I am sitting at my desk at work I google anything that comes to mind. The other day I was thinking about my grandmother's old rollerskating rink, "Broyles Arena." So, I googled it and the only link that I came up with was from your blog. So, that is how I saw your website...If you did grow up there you probably went to my grandfather's old restaurant, "The Rainbow" I know it has since changed names and become "Over the Rainbow" but I have some fond memories of that place. And, of course...who can forget Teo's! I still stop by there whenever I get to Pittsfield. (not often) So, in any case, it was good to see that somebody had a funny memory from the old skating rink."

Now I can't even google my name with any meaningful or accurate results, and a name game someone sent me once even said there was NO ONE in the United States of America with my name, so after I got over the initial shock I cracked up and thought it was just another one of those funny random things that happens from time to time that makes you think about the fun and funny things you used to do when you were younger.

OMG! How funny.

Loves me some Teos, though I haven't eaten there in decades.

Can you tell me if you are related to the Broyles Roller Skating Rink that used to be in Salisbury, MD? We had one when I was little and I have these vague memories of it and I am trying to find out any information available. Thanks!

Hi Jane!
No, this one was in Pittsfield, MA. I think it was just local. That's funny that there was one in MD!
Have a great night.
