What did we do this weekend?

Planted my garden and deck with flowers (it's all gorgeous this year), and Randy built a lamp my mom got us for Christmas to put on the deck too. We went to dinner for sushi and garlic chicken on Friday then went to a bar where the band we wanted to see wasn't going to start till 11 so we left 'cause we're old, then bumped into one co-worker each at a different bar (they were under 30, we, ahem, aren't) Played some 80's hits on the jukebox though, and laughed. Grilled outside 3 times (hamburglers, chicken, steak, all with veg; nothing burned), went for a 2.5 hour bike ride through Cambridge and Harvard Square then on to Boston and back, switched my wardrobe from winter to summer, did 10 loads of laundry, donated old clothes to charity (well, almost, they're in a pile waiting to go), watched the Red Sox lose 3 times and the Celtics win once. Slept a lot, finally unpacked my suitcase from the Peru and Ecuador trip, did some work so Tuesday won't be torture, drank a couple homemade margaritas and pisco sours, got a little tan on our arms, painted my toenails, and changed the toilet paper roll twice. Awesome weather here in MA, no locals around here in Boston, just us and some tourists. Great weekend! Hope yours was great also! ;-)
Oh and I'm still on the GD glasses. Thank goodness I got the prescription sunglasses. Back on contact Thursday I think!!

Sounds like a perfectly relaxing weekend. I'm with you about the band -- no one who starts playing at 11:00 pm can expect old fogies like us to stick around.

Sounds great! We went home Thurs. night, returned to NJ (just as the weather in Western Mass. got nice) and then had a really great day here on Monday.
