Cute kids make people happy. This one is super cute. Make our friends Charlie and Stella happy and give views to their Babytv dancing contest video. Also witness the complete takeover of toys in the household. :-)
Finally, almost two weeks since we got back I finally have time to write about this! Sheesh, it's been nuts at work, got a new sales manager and had to work like a beast of burden to get him set up and up to speed, but am very excited! Anyway, Hawaii! If you want to see all the pics, click on the title of this post. The crew is above: Karen, me, Renee, Bill, Randy, Kim and Jim. Finally got there Sunday after 2 weeks of temps in the teens and low 20s, NICE to feel the warm sun on our shoulders in our rented convertible. What did we do? Hung around most mornings in the sun at the house on the marina overlooking Koko Crater, got up every morning at sunrise ('cause jeez it was already 11am at home, and the time change was wacky, bobbed around in the 85 degree pool, went for great coastal drives, Also wound up on the gayest part of Waikiki Beach (are these guys GAY or GERMAN? Well, you tell me, upon further research I discovered it was called QUEEN'S BEACH) Also drove to th
My mom was planning to make a life-long dream come true tomorrow. She's been planning this trip to Egypt on a jealousy-inducing 18-day tour for months now. Starting out in Cairo, and heading down the Nile on a cruise boat for several days. The trip features camel rides (can NOT imagine her on a camel...she can't even deal with cat hair), falukah rides (whatever that is), flights to Abu Simbal, Pyramids, Luxor, temples, Valley of the Kings, all sorts of Moses stuff, ancient tombs, King Tut's mummy now that it's open for public viewing for the first time in history, museums, bazaars, handsome Egyptian men and smelly ones too, sand, lots of sand, more sand, sand, sand, and all sorts of other cool stuff. We spent the Saturday before Halloween reviewing her trip, looking at all her new purchases - I can't think of a better excuse for a new wardrobe, can you? ...and talking about getting there and away, and not having Thanksgiving at home for the first time. Very ver
Yesterday, I received a comment from the awesome blogger HAR : "Want to place a friendly wager? The odds are in your favor." I can only assume we're talking the Super Bowl here, 'cause the Red Sox and Yankees are nowhere near the 2008 playoff season yet. While I am truly enjoying living in the best sports city in the world this year, football really is for me something to watch once in a while to kill a few months between baseball seasons. (Ditto basketball and hockey.) Playoffs and championships are a blast to watch in any sport though, especially if you happen to be living in the city with the trophy fever! A nice friendly wager would be perfect. I'm up for it. I'll even give NY a 7-point lead. So if the Patriots win by 7 points or less (or if they lose) she'll win. If the Pats win by more, then I win. Shall we wager a meme?

Despite the crazy amount of toys, I'm impressed by how neat and orderly everything is. My house almost NEVER looks that good.
